My name is Carla Scarbrough, I am a certified professional coder and have been the medical billing and coding field for 30 years. When I first began in this industry I worked as an Auditor for a private health insurance company. My job was to Audit claims and find reasons to be able to deny payment. In my years doing this I became weary of keeping money out of the hands of the Doctors and Hospitals that are there to help us in our time of need and keep us healthy. So I decided to use my knowledge to help physicians collect the money they are due. My experience with the insurance company as well as with other billing companies, has taught me that every practice needs a billing service or team that is an extension of their office.
